![]() These few full time positions are usually already taken up by "lifers" who have worked for the company for years. 2 -3 full time staff members (outside of the management staff) for the high volume stores. Though all store managers are taught to advocate about the full-time benefits to the store associate candidates in interviews, the company will only only budget approx. All store associates are brought on as Part-Time. EXPECT TO HUSTLE! This is unlike working for other stores. Instead the company is trying to pressure an almost unreachable "Cartons Per Hour" initiative to press all stores to just "work faster" to keep up with the growth of the company in sales. Company puts exceptionally high standards on their stores compared to their retail competitors, which would be good, but unwilling to front the money for the talent. Several store managers of the larger Bealls Outlet stores I've observed complaining they don't know how to get all that needs done with how restrictive their payroll is. ![]() Payroll budget is very unfair for store managers creating high volume workplace stress for management and crew. If you work for bealls outlet as an associate, super, or manager you will have every job title under the sun at the store, maintance, register, cleaning, markdowns, your own department, unloading trucks, etc etc etc the stores employees are put through too much no one is designated to a couple of specific task everyone does everything but you only get paid for the job you applied for not all the other jobs you end up doing. ![]() The customers always complain about the out-dated policies and obsolete ways of running a rious upgrades needed to satisfy customers and raise productivity levels for the staff without making them slave. No room for advancement because the company is downsizing the staff, but expanding the number of stores. Hours are horrible, there is no drug testing so you have to deal with people who are using I experienced this many many many times through out my employment. There is not anything set in stone at this company, you will be tossed around and confused for atleast the first 3 yrs of employment. especially the district managers and regionals.
